Does martial arts promote violence?

For many parents, one issue that deserves attention is whether putting their children into martial arts will turn them into violent monsters or give some serious ammunition to the already violent monsters for abuse. My parents are part of this skeptical side and need many beggings from other parents, pleading and personal testimony to convince them to let me participate in martial arts may have an exciting positive impact on my life.

As for whether martial arts training does tend to be prone to violence, I think it depends to a large extent on the attitude of the martial arts school itself when and where to use the taught curriculum. Traditionally, as far as I can see, martial arts emphasizes certain moral principles. When I grow up in the Shotokan Karate, we will recite this code at the end of each lesson to remind ourselves that what we have learned will not be used inadvertently on the street.

However, as in the karate kid, every school run by Mr. Miyagis will have a Cobra Kai school where the game is the center of its value totem pole. Unfortunately, as MMA becomes more popular, I think these types of schools are becoming more prominent. However, I said slowly, because from my own experience, most MMA schools still seem to be managed by people who know how to separate sports from being just a bully, and they will let students do what they do. Anything is responsible. Affect the reputation of the school.

But what about the training itself? How does this affect the trainee's mentality? How many hours of practicing disability skills per week on a partner can make people start coloring their world in violent thoughts? Or is it likely to have the opposite effect? According to my experience, there is usually a preliminary feeling that I want to try a new skill in the real world. But I believe this is the result of a newly discovered self-confidence and self-discipline.

As students continue their training, this trend seems to tend to develop inner strength and self-confidence, resulting in a more relaxed, calmer nature, in which case the defender of one side can be disappointing. Many people will fight soon because they are afraid to let go of the defense. However, when one is confident in their ability to handle themselves in battle, they are better able to choose a higher road to conflict resolution without fighting. There is a saying that only those who can swing the sword can really choose peace.

Moreover, life is full of pressure. Many of us know the consequences of suppressing stress - it can find a way out in an ugly way, which may make you sleep on the couch. Exercise, especially exercise, lets you release some aggression. It can be said that one needs a "cooling boiling pot" to say so.

Finally, when people really understand the ways to really hurt others, there is often a new way of respecting violence. Many people don't want to go out and hurt another human compatriot, but appreciate the way to learn to control the situation so that the least amount of pain is infected to stop the attacker.
