Let me ask you a question. If you have already been disadvantaged in self-defense attacks, why would you intensify more by increasing your disadvantage? I mean, you have to hurt yourself crazy and help your attacker - become an accomplice in your own ass kick... right?
This article is about avoiding this. Among them, I shared with you why I can't teach my students to use standard clenched fists when hitting your attacker's face in a self-defense street attack. And, I will give you 4 strikes, these strikes are much better for getting the results you want, and there is no risk of the same damage!
But first, let me share a reason with you, you must frantically hit someone with a clenched fist.
ready?
Because in this process you may hurt your own hands.
do not trust me? How did that happen? After all, isn't this what everyone does?
In most cases, the answer is yes. But at what price?
Look at the boxers and other fighters fighting outside the fighter plane. Do you know what will happen, even if they win? What will happen, most of them...
In the process, there will eventually be a broken hand, finger or wrist.
Not very smart.
The reason for this is because it is almost impossible to hit humans on the face without the chisel-like "process" or the front of the skull, the face and part of the ridge. In fact, with a standard clenched fist - from the eyebrows to the chin, from the edge of the eye through the face to each side - without touching one of these chisels, it is impossible to hit people on the face. Like a ridge.
So what do you do now?
"What is it now" is...
If I can tell you how to hit an attacker on the face - to get the same swing effect that only the head shot gives you [actually more] - without worrying about your hand, finger or wrist in the process ?
Would you be interested?
Somehow, I know you will.
So don't try to figure out how to hit someone with the "holeman" impact that others are using - no matter what the consequences - let's look at four alternative "fists" that can do more with less energy. .....
And... won't trade on broken hands because of any damage you've done in the process.
- 1] Palm heel strike - By using the bottom of the palm - the solid part of the palm that aligns with the gun's bones, you can get the hitting power like a shot without worrying about folding your wrists or breaking the smaller bones of your fingers and colliding with the facial bones. In fact, like most of the fists I share with you today, it actually fits the problem area where I keep warning students!
- 2] Thumb driving strike - The tip of the thumb provides amazing power and damage to the thinner bones in front of the sinus cavity and to any other part of the face. By making a standard fist and then pressing the middle joint of the thumb against the top of the folded index finger, you know the ability to gain the power of a larger clenched fist and concentrate it on a much smaller point.
- 3] Sniper hits the ball - Often referred to as "karate" or "judo", the knife attack concentrates the impact along the outer edge of the palm. Again, like the heel strike of the palm, the narrow nature of this "fist" makes it easy to slide into and into the bone surface behind the face that other people care about.
- 4] Forearm strike - Most people think that this is just a tool for interception. Real self-defense experts think it is an idiot weapon. The forearm - especially the ulna [the bone on the outer edge of the forearm] - can even make the most determined attacker fall into his orbit.
Of course.
Remember that fighting, even self-defense, is at risk of serious damage. However, your training should not let you hurt yourself! And, especially when it comes to protecting ourselves, our idea is "More intelligent battles - not harder!"
