Meeting Saturdays 11-12:30 PM (There may be one of the seven Saturdays that is skipped) For information on costs, please read belowSocial workers practice under supervision for at least three years before applying for the clinical license. Come join our supervision group (limited to 6 individuals) to prepare for the exciting clinical experiences ahead! We will look at developing your professional identity, understanding the ethics of practice, and collaborate to resolve perplexing client dilemmas. We will work toward achieving your required 120 supervision hours within safe and compassionate relationships, complete with coffee or tea in one of Atlanta's premier therapy centers.This group runs for 6 weeks with breaks between sessions. You may come for six weeks or stay longer for your entire supervision process. We are an open and welcoming group. About Thom Anderson, LCSW Thom has years of clinical supervision experience and serves as the Clinical Consultant at Rock Springs Positive Coaching, Caring and Counseling where is a cofounding member. He has previously served as a clinical supervisor for crisis teams at Pathways in Decatur, GA and has years of successful private practice to his credit working with individuals, families and couples. He also has years of experience working in child welfare; emergency response; hospital social work, and school social work. His service dog, Annie Anderson, also joins the group as an additional calming and friendly presence.
